| dc.description.abstract | The Goa Rides application is a comprehensive digital platform for on-demand transportation specially developed for increasing transparency, reliability and efficiency of auto-rickshaw and bike taxi services within Goa. The app has been tailored to allow only the two-wheeler and three-wheeler vehicles which are auto, electric auto, bike or electric bike. This focused approach ensures specialization in local mobility needs as well as aligning with the Goa's traditional transportation ecosystem. The main aim of the system is to create an organized, customer centric, and secure digital interface which can bridge the customers with qualified native riders. With real-time ride booking feature integration interactive map-based location visibility rider type selection options and transparent rider information display, the application increases coordination between riders and commuters. The system solves common transport difficulties such as lack of ordered booking mechanisms, ride availability visibility limitations, fare uncertainties, over charging risks, communication gaps, among others. Through a compact booking process workflow endowed with intuitive interface design, short distance and inexpensive travel solutions seeking residents, both tourists within state get convenience by application. Besides customer-oriented features, the Goa Rides application is focusing on a rider module which targets at employing local drivers. Riders can register through meeting certain document requirements to ensure their credibility and reliability. After that they will have a personalized dashboard showing information about their working time, estimated income per day and ride requests procedure (accepting or declining). The platform utilizes ratings alongside feedback system thus making it possible for quality of services to be improved as well as trust between riders as well as clients to be enhanced.
