    Impact of Tourism on Youth Lifestyle and Career Choices in Margao

    The lives of Margao, Goa's youth have changed significantly because of the tourism industry's explosive rise. This study shows how tourism affects young people in Margao, ages 19 to 30, in terms of their lifestyle and employment choices. This study aimed to understand how tourism impacts the lives of young people in Margao, highlighting its opportunities and challenges. The study used a quantitative survey approach, gathering information from 201 young people via a structured questionnaire that recorded their demographics, desired careers, and changes in lifestyle. The results show that 51.7% of respondents were drawn to the hospitality sector, indicating that tourism has a substantial impact on employment choices. Even while 82.6% of respondents think that tourism has improved economic prospects, worries regarding job stability still exist. With 74.1% citing new experiences and chances, the survey also emphasizes how tourism improves lifestyle. However, it is important to pay attention to the lack of interest in entrepreneurship and worries about the long-term sustainability of tourism-related employment. With suggestions for sustainable expansion and youth empowerment, this study offers insightful information about the intricate relationship between Margao's tourism industry and youth development.
