| dc.description.abstract | The reliance on polluting fuels has sparked global concerns over the environmental and health consequences of pollution. This paper delves into the progress of BRICS nations toward achieving Sustainable Development Goal 7 by 2030, with a specific focus on clean cooking. The analysis reveals a significant decrease in the use of polluting fuels in Brazil, India, China, and South Africa. Moreover, it highlights the encouraging emergence of electricity as a popular fuel in rural areas of China and South Africa, indicating a positive and promising shift towards cleaner energy sources. | |
